FA Design Group was founded by John F. Andrews on a straightforward philosophy: good design begins by listening.
With decades of hands-on experience, John works directly with homeowners, builders and contractors to turn ideas into thoughtful, functional and buildable plans. Whether the project is a custom home, addition, ADU, barn, outbuilding, commercial space or specialized industrial project, the process begins the same way—by understanding what you want to accomplish and determining the best way to make it work.

John brings creative thinking and technical experience together, developing detailed plans that clearly communicate design intent, anticipate potential challenges and provide a strong foundation for the work ahead.
JFA also prepares drawings for permitting, zoning and municipal review, with careful consideration given to local building requirements throughout the design process.
